The Midwestern Chinese Exclusion Database, developed by Gene Moy in cooperation with the staff of the National Archives and Records Administration Great Lakes Region, contains a complete index of the approximately 7000 Chinese Exclusion files for the upper midwest, allowing Chinese Chicago and Minneapolis/St. Paul residents to access files collected by the Immigration and Naturalization Service regarding our ancestors. These files span a period roughly between the 1890s to the 1950s.

Online access and an interpretation center is planned to roll out shortly.
